SeaSpine Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SPNE), a global medical technology company specializing in surgical solutions for the treatment of spinal diseases, today announced the full commercial launch of its Admiral ACP system. Admiral ACP represents the next generation of cervical anterior plates, designed to achieve the best balance between strength, contour and structural rigidity. The differentiated plate features, combined with the progressive elimination of innovative instruments, work seamlessly in the hands of the surgeon to create a more efficient and consistent anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) experience.

Dr. Don Park, Associate Director of Orthopedic Surgery Quality and Safety at the University of California, Los Angeles, said: “Admiral is the most versatile and powerful ACDF system I have used. Screws and threaded drivers with threaded forms optimized for high-angle trajectories are a game. The rule changer. The Admiral allows me to confidently handle the most difficult cases. I am very happy that with this comprehensive commercial launch, the larger market now has access to such a comprehensive system."

Admiral ACP is designed to be used as a fixation device for ACDF surgery together with the company's intervertebral products (including 3D printed Waveform™ C and Shoreline® RT with NanoMetalene® surface technology and Reef Topography™). Admiral ACP includes 1-5 level plating options with a variety of cross sizes, which will enable surgeons to address specific surgical needs during the operation.

"Our next-generation Admiral ACP addresses the largest segment of the cervical spine surgery market estimated to be worth US$1.3 billion, and we believe this system will become an important growth driver for SeaSpine," said Keith Valentine, President and CEO. "This is another example of SeaSpine's commitment to launch a first-class spinal implant system."
