Boy arrested on property crime offences, Townsville
Police have charged two boys with property offences overnight.
At approximately 11pm on Wednesday, September 7, police were patrolling Riverway Drive, Condon when they observed two boys walking with bandanas covering faces.
Police searched a boy and will allege that they located a flat head screw driver in the boys hand and drug utensils.
Police also took possession of a watch which police suspected was stolen property.
Police will also allege that the other boy was in possession of a knife.
Police arrested both boys and transported him to the watchhouse.
A 17-year-old Kirwan boy was charged with possess house breaking implement, possess tainted property and possess utensil.

Both boys will be appearing in the Townsville Children’s court today.
Police conducting speed enforcement yesterday at about 1.45pm along Richmond Woolgar Road intercepted a vehicle travelling at 155km/h in a 100km/h zone.
The driver, a 20-year-old Richmond man was issued with a traffic infringement notice for exceed speed limit by more than 40km/h.
This infringement notice carries a $1,653 fine, 8 demerit points and a six month license suspension.
