Precision Spine announced the launch of the Dakota ACDF stand-alone system for the treatment of degenerative disc disease (DDD).

The Dakota ACDF system has a titanium plate polyetheretherketone (PEEK) cage and cortical cancellous bone screws, designed to provide maximum support and a spacious cavity for autologous bone grafts to help promote fusion.

The Dakota ACDF system is suitable for skeletal mature patients with DDD at the level of single or double discs (C2-T1), where DDD is defined as disc-induced pain of intervertebral disc degeneration confirmed by medical history and radiological studies. The device is placed at the level of the intervertebral disc from C2 to T1 through an anterior approach.
